    In case you hadn’t noticed yet, all the August starting images for PFCC are feathers. I thought this white on black feather would be the easiest to mask. Surprise! It turns out that was more gray in the image than I thought. It took a fair bit longer than I anticipated.

    Today, to top off that off, I haven’t been able to find the layered Photoshop file that lists where the stock images are from. Nothing on my hard drive, nothing in my cloud storage. OUCH! After decades of advocating to save the layers file, and never flattening the files, even after PS made it really difficult to save a jpg from a psd file; I must have done that somehow.

 Anyway, here is the breakdown for the composite image: Millenary Store: fabric background from Pixabay, statue head from PixelSquid, marble texture from AdobeStock, recolored hat from Pixabay, as is the feather.
